A workshop that offeres practical learning opportunities for experience and skilled personnel from any broadcasting discipline (news,programme,production,engineering etc.)to plan,organise,conduct evaluate and modify training that brings about measureable results in the organisations.
The workshop will focus on methods of design,application,implemetation and evaluation of core competency development programmes in broadcasting.During the workshop a 2 day training needs analysis will be carried out for staff of Voice Maldives.Objectives
The participants will be able to
- apply the knowledge and skills of varied methodologies in training,
- plan,organise,conduct,evaluate and modify training that brings about measureable results,
- bring about positive change in the organisation through effective training.
Profile of the Participant
- Trainers
- Practitioners in any discipline in broadcasting with at least 5-7 years experience in their field of specilaisation,
- upper age limit is 45
- ability to understand,speak,write in English whihc is the medium of instruction.
NOTE :
To facilitate work in the Training need analysis exercise carried out on the first two days of the workshop the participants will be grouped into six staff categories: 1) Technical and engineering, 2) Radio and TV Programming, 3) Producers and directors, 4) Marketing and advertising, 5) Administration and accounting, and 6) Journalists. Groups are limited to a maximum of 20 persons
