The Pre-Asia Media Summit workshop is intended not only to develop a constructive plan to improve original local content, initiate international cooperation and promote training for children’s programmers but also to diagnose the reality of children’s programming in Asia-Pacific and to examine how media can play a responsible role to assist the under privileged,address sensitivities and implications on issues connected to children’s development.
OBJECTIVES
To be able to
- diagnose the reality of children's programming in Asia-Pacific based on the research and develop a constructive future plan to implement local quality children's programmes,
- examine strategies to improve on expertise, formats, standards, original content of local children programming and measures how to strengthen educational and entertainment programming,
- discuss ways to work together to enhance the local quality children's programme in the region,
- identify new Initiatives through international cooperation and potential joint projects,
- promote training opportunities for children's Programmers.
