This In-Country Workshop on Distribution Technologies from 24-31 October 2008 in Kabul is being organised with support from UNESCO, Kabul for the staff of RTA. This workshop is about technologies used for distribution of content from Radio & Television studios to other parts.
AimAt the end of the workshop the participants will be able to:-
- understand basic communication principle
- know various links used for distribution of audio/ video content
- know basic operation & maintenance of links including Earth Stations
- align and tune antenna unit- carry out RF/baseband measurements

Terrestrial Microwave links

An introduction to Spectrum analyzer and workshop

The course is designed for the technical staff from Radio & Television associated with operation & maintenance of Microwave link, VHF Link, Earth Station.
