The workshop is intended for broadcast journalists and it will focus on the critical role mass media play during elections, upgrade the journalistic skills in election reporting, and also includes case studies and group exercises, etc.

During the workshop, the participants will need to do practical exercises on the reporting on media's performance, which they might do during the election.

The consultant is Ms. Cheche Lazaro from Philippines. She is founding President of Probe Productions, Inc. and anchor of “The Probe Team” the first Filipino investigative newsmagazine for television that has won both local and international recognition.
