Schedule of Upcoming Training Projects

General notice regarding participation: For most AIBD training projects you cannot apply directly by contacting AIBD. We can process direct applications only in case of seminars and conferences, which have been explicitly declared as being open to the public. For other kinds of training projects you must have received a nomination and specific forms from an invited AIBD member organization before we can process your application.

Advocacy: Pre summit Working Group for Gender Guidlelines for Broadcasting Organisations

The Members of the Working Group will formulate Gender guidelines to promote a balanced and diverse portrayal of women and men,in decision making to all other diciplines in broadcasting for empowerment and capacity building in broadcasting organisations. Each organization is expected take its own initiative and work towards making their organizational environment more gender balanced according to the diversities,sensitivities and the working cultures of their own broadcasting organizations.

The terms of reference is the research study carried out by AIBD on Code of Ethics for Gender Mainstreaming in Broadcasting Organizations. [more...]

About

AIBD maintains a network of trainers, who worked many years in the broadcasting industry. Our trainers combine an awareness of learning psychology with effective interpersonal skills. Their subject-matter expertise can provide tutorial support in the classroom as well as to on-line learners.

Course participants all receive comprehensive, take-away documentation that includes copies of all course slides and other relevant materials.

Depending on the requirements of the training, AIBD chooses between several facilities: the two in-house classrooms, the classrooms at IPTAR nearby, meeting rooms at hotels or any in-country facility abroad.

AIBDs classrooms are equiped with broadband internet access and modern AV devices.

The schedule beside is updated on a daily basis. It reflects only the courses ahead.
