Once the stories have been covered, edited and packaged - what happens next. How does it get into the news bulletin?
The final volume in the TV News CD-ROM series, this one goes for the big picture - the planning, assembling and broadcasting of a television station's main daily news bulletin. This shows the editorial processes, the job allocation, the ordering and co-ordination of materials, supplies and the communication links necessary for world class international coverage as presented by any major network - or a very small station with an aspiration to becoming a bigger station! The language to be used to reach a particular audience is explained, with examples and exercises both for writing news, scripting stories and voicing. The responsibilities of the practioners of each craft are set out, with experts in these fields passing on their knowledge and tips. The set culminates at the point where the bulletin is presented, and a debriefing afterwards. For information about the price (box plus postage) please contact: info@aibd.org.my
