CD-ROM on: TV News - The Crew (2 CDs)

This focuses on the actual process the crew has to go through when shooting and editing a news story.

It covers all aspects a crew and its director(s) need to consider before setting the camera(s) rolling, the communication between on-site and station staff, the shape of the story, what script may be desirable, how much the picture can tell the story, and the role and input of the on-screen journalist or presenter. Camera, sound, and lighting techniques and options, teamwork, getting the film back to base and processing it for final airing are explained, and exercises occur regularly for the users to test themselves as to how well they are learning what is presented to them.
