Mr. Das joined AIBD as Programme Manager (Broadcasting Engineer) on 15 March 2007. He has been vested with the responsibility of planning, coordination and execution of various activities pertaining to conduction of training programmes for AIBD member countries.

Mr. Padarabinda Das

Prior to his joining AIBD, Mr. Das has worked in All India Radio for about 18 years. He joined AIR in 1989 after completing M.Tech in Microwave Electronics from University of Delhi. Being a broadcasting engineer in AIR, Mr. Das was associated with installation and commissioning of various radio studio and transmitter projects; worked as trainer for extending training to the technical staff of AIR & Doordarshan; involved in planning and coordination of spectrum for radio transmitters in AIR network; assisted in introducing Modern technologies in AIR network. He also got the opportunity to head one of the AIR’s FM Radio station with production and transmission infrastructure.
