"Digital Media Everywhere: Repositioning Broadcasting"
24 - 25 May 2011, Hanoi, Vietnam

The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) is pleased to announce the 8th Asia Media Summit, to be held at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam, from 24 to 25 May 2011.

The AMS 2011, which will be hosted by The Voice of Vietnam (VOV), expects to gather some 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside Asia Pacific to examine issues that impact the highly competitive and dynamic media environment.

With the theme "Digital Media Everywhere: Repositioning Broadcasting", the Summit will examine how broadcasting is redefining and reinventing itself to seize opportunities being offered by digital technology and new media. It will feature eight plenary sessions covering technology updates, content innovations, growth opportunities, capacity building initiatives, change management issues, and strategies for optimizing broadcast and new media for development.

For the first time, AIBD is calling for papers to enhance the range of insights and engagement of media stakeholders in one of the premiere communication events in Asia Pacific.

We invite you to join us in the Summit and benefit from the opportunities of enhancing your learning and understanding and of networking with broadcasters across the globe.

The Asia Media Summit 2011 agenda, the list of pre-summit events and the registration form will be available soon. Thank you!
