Ouk Kimseng





OUK Kimseng was in the field of information, broadcast and print media as early as 1983. After completing radio journalism in Germany in 1987 he worked as radio journalist and news presenter for Radio the Voice of the People of Kampuchea’s English Program Oversea Service unti 1991. After that he left it for a 14-month job with the United Nation Transitional Authority in Cambodia that organized the first liberal elections in Cambodia. Between late 1993 and 2003, he worked as news editors for the Cambodia Times, Cambodia Today, Evening News, Phnom Penh TV3 and Radio media outlets. In 2004, he was appointed as an advisor to Ministry of Information, a deputy Director General of Agence Kampuchea Presse and was promoted to under-Secretary of State in Ministry of Information in 2015. Mr. Kimseng completed his master’s degree in public administration in 2008 and attended several media training courses including technological skills development. Currently, he is also in-charge of social media PR and dealing with matters of fake news, and working with other public institutions as provided in Facebook Page facebook.com/AntiFakeNewsKHM/
