Recruitment Notice for the Post of Director
The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), a Regional Intergovernmental Institute hosted by the Malaysian government, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are from its members for the position of DIRECTOR, AIBD.
Duty Station : Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaDuration of Appointment : For an initial period of three years, which could be extended.
Age Limit : The retirement age at AIBD is 65 years.

- New ABU Secretary-General appointed
- Javad Mottaghi was appointed the next ABU Secretary-General.
The announcement was made by the ABU Administrative Council after a meeting in Kuala Lumpur on 8 January 2010.
Mr Mottaghi, is currently Director of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD). He succeeds David Astley, who has been Secretary-General since July 2002.
