General Conference

The AIBD General Conference (GC) and its Associated Meetings is the annual official gathering of the Institute. The General Conference is open to member countries, affiliates, partners, observers and leading broadcasters by invitation only. Members Countries, Affiliates and partners would have the opportunity to review the number of activities and projects that AIBD has implemented for the past year and also look into the future projects. Also discussed is the developmental needs of the member countries.

In addition to this, the AIBD Strategic Plan Team (SPT) Meeting and the Executive Board (EXBO) Meeting will also take place and look into the future major AIBD activities such as the Asia Media Summit (AMS).

AIBD Director Yang Binyuan paid an official visit to Nepal from November 21 to 24 to contribute for successful preparations of the 38th Annual Gathering and 11th AIBD General Conference & Associated Meetings, which will be hosted by Nepal Television (NTV) in Kathmandu, Nepal from July 25 to 27, 2012.

The 26th AIBD Strategic Plan Team meeting was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on July 25th, 2011, prior to the opening of the 37th Annual Gathering and 10th AIBD General Conference & Associated Meetings. Nearly 30 delegates from AIBD members took part in the meeting.

Preparations for the 37th Annual Gathering and 10th AIBD General Conference & Associated Meetings are in full swing. The GC 2011 will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from July 25-28, 2011, hosted by the Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB).

The 37th Annual Gathering and 10th AIBD General Conference & Associated Meetings will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from July 25-28, 2011. It will be hosted by the Mongolian National Public Radio and Television (MNB). AIBD Director Yang Binyuan recently paid a visit to Mongolia to finalize the preparations of the GC.

Visit MNB and Meet with Naranbaatar, General Director, MNB

AIBD Director Yang Binyuan visited MNB headquarters in Ulaanbaatar and met with Mr. Naranbaatar Myanganbuu, General Director of MNB.
